Haryana Government proposes Faridabad Metro
FARIDABAD: The Haryana government has proposed a metro route inside Faridabad, which was talked about as of late at a meeting in Chandigarh. The metro line in the city had been talked about before also, yet the project was postponed.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has guided authorities to expedite work on the proposed line, which is will be the first since forever line proposed In Faridabad.

Sources said the 28-km metro line is required to begin at Achievers, which is on Sohna Road and connect with Badraula. There would be fifteen stations on this course - Achievers, Sainik Colony, Sainik Chowk, Badkal Lake, Ankheer Chowk, Asian Hospital, Badkal Mor, Sabzi Mandi, Kheri Pul, Omaxe Heights, Omaxe World Street, Sector 78, Sadupura, Tigaon and Badraula.
The expense of the task is expected to be around Rs 5,780 crore.
The plan is to connect Faridabad Metro's Saffron Line to Delhi Metro's Violet Line via Badkal Mor.
The Faridabad Metro has been in the pipeline for some time now, and as of now has on a basic level endorsement from the state and central government. This is the first since forever metro project proposed in the city.
FMDA authorities have expelled concerns in regards to this project, saying these metro entwines would address issues of open vehicle in the city as they would give inner availability inside Faridabad. The immediate action should be on improving road transport in greater faridabad by having roadways from sector 78 to badarpur border , which will help people who are unable to use metro due to some or other reasons but also help in connecting Delhi and Greater Faridabad. through roadways.
